How We Compare
A useful comparison starts with the same coverage goal and examines the actual policy language. A lower premium alone does not show which tradeoffs are appropriate for you.

Use consistent inputs
Put coverage amount, duration, riders, occupation, state, and relevant assumptions alongside each proposal. Highlight differences rather than presenting unlike options as equivalent.
Show the limitations
Ask for exclusions, conditions, guarantees, and what can change. Request a written explanation of both advantages and drawbacks. Do not treat an illustration as a guaranteed outcome.
Identify the comparison’s scope
Before making a recommendation, the advisor should identify which insurers and products were considered and any limits on access. Ask Drs Choices directly which insurers it can place business with, and how it is paid for a given policy, before you act on a proposal. Drs Choices does not claim to compare every insurer or product available in your state.
